    We came here for an early Father's Day dinner and were very pleased. Chips and salsa were complimentary but I wish the salsa had a little more bite to it.  I ordered the spicy bean dip to start which was refried beans, cheese, and spices with tortilla chips. It wasn't too spicy up front, but had a lingering kick on the back end. For dinner I ordered the fish tacos which is a tilapia filet with house coleslaw and avocado. This was delicious and the portion sizes were surprisingly large for three tacos. My wife got the mole de poblano (sp?) which she loves. If you like mole sauce, I recommend giving theirs a try because it is pretty solid.

    Service was a little slow to take our initial order, but we were sitting at the bar, it was crowded, and once we placed the order, we didn't have to wait very long. The staff are very friendly and made some great recommendations. There is only street parking so check out Birch street because Pittston Avenue can be a pain if there is a lot of traffic.

    Great Mexican food .very authentic.  Prices  are incredible reasonable.  I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a great Mexican meal. A must visit in NEPA. YOU won't be disappointed.

    Came here for lunch today. Great selection of all kinds of different dishes. They are willing to make any Mexican dish without meat and double up on peppers and onions. So vegetarian options are available! Great price for the size of the portion! I'll be eating my leftovers for at least another 2 days. Service was very good and very quick!!

    Italo's is a family-run corner restaurant serving up great Mexican food and drinks. The family is super friendly and they make great food. Buyer beware: the portions are more than generous! The burritos are easily two or three meals for most people:) The do attract a lot of business, so be prepared for a full restaurant. Everyone here hustles though, so you will not wait long. There is also a very active food crowd at the bar. Be sure to try a few of the Mexican specialty drinks and cocktails.
